Cozy Mountain Top Ski Studio

Highly recommend Bill & Heather’s place if you’re in the Beech Mtn/Banner Elk area! Communication with them was very clear, and directions were easy to follow. The space was spotless, and matched the description to a T. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway you should highly consider their space.

The clean mountain air & breeze while visiting Beech Mountain to get an idea of where to stay for future stays to hike & snow ski. There is a $99 cleaning fee to rent this property but it was not clean and items that should have been replaced had not been. For that cost per guest, these could be replaced multiple times! I read in a review on here from February 2025 where someone else commented on the nasty sofa and arm chair and the owner replied saying they would be addressed. Obviously had not. The bedding was stained and looked like it had been slept in without being stripped and washed before our visit. There was a bloodstain on the mattress cover, and filth under the mattress including an old bandaid. Not just one guest could cause that much filth, this is cumulative lack of cleaning. The white sofa and arm chairs are nasty stained. The lack of cleanliness was disgusting, so we spread out the complimentary bath robes on the bed and slept on top of those. This was supposed to be a rare weekend away from our kids for us as a couple and by the end of, it we decided we would have been better off to driven a daytrip and returned home to sleep in our own CLEAN home and bed. I messaged the owner immediately after our check-out to tell them our experience and he said they would be addressing it immediately, in fact that day, and doing a deep clean. I don’t believe it after seeing the same comment on the furniture 1 year ago. Better places to rent! No view from the room. The property grounds are very dated and in need of various repairs from rusted out non-working street lights in the parking lot. Instead of sending all needed information about the stay for amenities, check-in and check-out, the owner has multiple automated messages sent so it’s a hassle to scroll through to find what is needed. In the rental listing, the pool, sauna, and workout facilities were listed as amenities. After booking, I received the rental info that said all of those amenities had closed for the season on April 8th until late May. Update your rental listing to reflect these dates of closure year-round.

This was a great place to stay for our short stay for college visits. Beautiful area and great accommodations!

The place is super cute!! Very clean, cozy and peaceful. The pool, hot tub and sauna are all 10 feet away. There is a nice work out area up stairs...game room...pool table...snacks...cornhole...area for grilling and firepit! #1106 is for a couple ..single person or couple with younger child. I came up alone and felt comfortable and safe. The area is amazing! Trust me if you are coming up here YOU MEAN too!! Hahaha there is no mistake. Kind of high winding roads but so worth it and I took my time. The next day I was over it and stopped for views along the drive down and up. I will definitely be back ...10/10!! ❤️❤️ Nothing. All was well! Very peaceful!!! Very relaxing!! Just what I needed !!

I felt right at home! I love how decorative and cozy the studio was. It was small but still very spacious! I loved how they supplied the kitchen with cooking utilities, and the coffee! It was very well cleaned when we arrived, and we left it how we fount it! It does get a little chilly, but the extra blankets and the electric stove were very accommodating! And I loved the different options with lighting it made it feel very cozy! The pool and the hot tub was also very pleasant. Everyone there was very kind and outgoing to the guest to the workers on the site! They also left us a binder of great recommendations to check out around town. I really loved that! Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had. I really enjoyed my birthday here! Please give them a try you won’t regret it, thank you, Bill and Heather!

Was a clean and modernized place to stay and pinnacle inn has more than you could ever think of just steps away!! Was a great experience and had lots of fun the room was fully loaded with what you need to stay and our host bill was superior at communication on the phone and text. The bathroom door doesn't shut because it needs to be repaired as the wood is breaking apart, the smart tv didn't have the original remote and was a ge universal remoyr which had me pressing guide on the remote to go back home just to relaunch prime video to choose a different channel.

How cozy it was Electric fan for the heat would cycle on and off every 10 to 15 min.

The location was excellent-centrally located on the mountain top. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The shower had abundant hot water and was stocked with toiletries. The bed was comfortable. The main heater was right next to the bed and kind of noisy. We woke up all night long to the heater turning on and off. Also, there was a cow skull mounted over the bed that was a bit off-putting.

Loved the drive up to the resort. The resort itself looks dated for being 5 star. Our one-bedroom unit was comfortable, cozy, well-supplied, and nicely decorated. Everything worked. We used the hot tub but not the swimming pool, as it was not heated. We only stayed one night as planned. Owner Bill was very helpful in directing us to our unit and was available to answer questions once we got there. The walls in the condo unit were thin, as we could hear music, footsteps, and even someone snoring from above. We were hoping for more of a view.

The condo was nicely decorated and felt very homey and cozy Kitchen space was small but had everything we needed to cook and bake breakfast!

This was our first trip to Beech Mountain and it was beautiful! This little studio is so cozy and welcoming. Everything is just as shown on the Airbnb site. We had no problems with check in or check out, it was super easy. The location has gorgeous views of the mountains. We really enjoyed watching the deer on the property. We would stay here again.

Amazing little condo on Beech Mountain! The condo’s decor made it feel so cozy and the bed was very comfortable. We liked it that it provided a/c during our summer trip there. We also like the location, very easy drive to all of the hot spots. The owners were very prompt on communication. Oh and they had robes! Very nice touch;)

The bed was extremely comfortable! Easy access, as far as close to parking and on the first floor. There was a ceramic holder that had the black makeup washcloth in it, and when I took the washcloth out, the holder was very dirty inside, like it hadn't been cleaned for months. Also, it's a good thing I brought my own Starbucks French Roast coffee pods, as the selection of coffee pods was terrible. Only a few random crazy flavored coffee pods were there.

Ideal location, close to everything! There is nothing we can honestly say that we didn’t like about the property!

Great airbnb and very responsive host!

This was a great spot that was only 5 minutes from Beech Mountain and less that 20 to Sugar Mountain. This was just enough space for the two of us and the best part was the real fireplace! There were all the amenities that we needed for a great stay. Bill and Heather were very quick answering any questions we had. We had some car trouble and they were very helpful in helping us get a ride to the place. A great spot in a beautiful area.

The location was dirty there was hair in the shower and the floors were very dirty. It was alot smaller than expected and the kitchen was also very dirty with old and dirty plates/pots and pans. It was not worth the price listed regardless of its close proximity to a ski resort. We left early.

Great location. The resort has a large dog park and big playground. It’s at the top of the mountain with beautiful views of the stars at night and Beech Mountain right across the street. The room is smaller than expected but cozy for two adults with two pets.

The owners were very responsive and accommodating. I have rented a few times over the years and never had better response times. The condo is cute, convenient to everything, well stocked, and clean. Our only issue was the built in queen bed. We were not expecting a bed that only has egress on one side. It makes it challenging getting up at night not being able to exit the bed except by climbing over one another. Looking back at the pictures I suppose you can see that but it would make sense to mention that in the description. Other than that it’s a great little cozy condo.

This place was really a gem. They offer a portable AC but the evenings get so cool we didnt even need it. Loved the heater in bathroom. Perfect location to restaurants and things to do with a short drive. love the fact that I could step out and to the left was a grill with table and a beautiful view, to the right and just a quick 2min walk is the center where you will find a pool that goes to 8ft deep, 2 saunas, a jacuzzi, game room, pool table and restrooms. Our stay was quick but great. My only complaint was that it was cold the weekend we were there and the heater cut on and off a lot. Would consider adding better instructions for the heater but overall a very cozy stay.

Side note unrelated to the listing itself: The town’s EV charger unfortunately does not work and the charger down the mountain in banner elk has a 5 hour average charge time so plan ahead if traveling via electric vehicle.

My husband and I had a beautiful 3 day stay for our honeymoon. It was super cozy, cute, and comfortable. Very short walk to the hot tub, sauna, and pool. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute unit right around the corner from Beech Mountain, and a 10-minute drive from downtown Banner Elk. We enjoyed our time at Bill and Heather's unit, with it's easy access to Beech and Sugar Mountains for skiing.

We had a wonderful time! Their condo was adorable, small but so cozy and perfect for our weekend away to get out ski. The only things I could say would be the community area with hot pool and sauna is a building absolutely covered in mold and mildew to the point that you cannot even breath without tasting it. They were INCREDIBLY responsive no matter what. You should absolutely come stay!

The unit is very small, but I knew that before had. It served just what we needed! The community area has a hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room and some gym equipment.

Easy walk down to beech mountain resort free shuttle, we took ride to the brewery for a concert and it was super easy!

Perfect location for a staycation! We loved how close we were to the ski resorts and that we had access to all the amenities. Communication was wonderful, would definitely come back.

This was the perfect place to go see the beech mountain . Me and my boyfriend had a blast and would definitely come stay again. We dislike we only were able to get one night but that one night was a wonderful stay. I can’t wait to book again. The home made you feel very comfortable. The bed was soft, blankets and the little fire pit they had to go out side with you when you wanted to go sit outside on the porch. It was the best airbrb I have ever stayed in. Definitely and highly recommend them for stay .

Bom levar água pra beber e não ter que sair pra comprar. A piscina é perfeita, quentinha. Ótima e quieta localização, tem um parquinho bem nos fundos, está a 15min de caminhada do Beech Mountain Resort (ski), da ótima Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria, do Holly BBQ que tem um brisket delicioso e de outros bons lugares. Recomendo fortemente.

We enjoyed our stay so much. It was a very relaxing quick getaway before Thanksgiving. It was rainy and foggy almost our entire visit, but heated pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna were great to hit, to warm up, at the end of the day. After warming up in the hot tub it was so nice to retreat to the cozy studio afterwards. Bill and Heather were super helpful and very quick to respond. They were easy to communicate with and their listing and instructions were easy to read/follow.

Bill and Heather were extremely helpful in getting settled into the place. They provided a binder with activities to check out in the local area along with the ski mountain attractions. The place looked just like the photos, smelled amazing when your walked in and was a nice warmth in contrast to the cold. Bill and Heather provided dishes and cooking supplies as well as small kuerig cups and hot cocoa so you can have a fresh hot cup of something in the morning. P.S. The bbq place right across the stop sign with the fresh fudge is worth checking out.

The condo is perfect for a getaway to the mountains. It's very close to Beech Mtn resort and also to downtown Banner Elk. The place was very clean and just as described in the listing. Check in was easy and parking is convenient. I only stayed one night but I'll definitely stay here again when I visit the area next.

Bill & Heather’s studio at Pinnacle Inn was the perfect getaway to Beech Mountain. I loved the French cottage chic decor and it was well stocked with anything you could need on your stay. It was the small personal touches that made it extra special, like stocked K-cups, dimmable bedside light, makeup mirror and a detailed welcome book. It was a short walk down to the Brick Oven Pizzeria and to catch the shuttle to the ski resort. Beech Mountain experienced a winter storm during my stay and Bill kept in constant contact to ensure I was safe and comfortable at their unit. This was one of the best stays I’ve had with AirBnB and can’t wait to book another trip with Bill & Heather ♥️

Great little studio minutes away from Beech Mountain. Very friendly, communicative and accommodating hosts. Studio is exactly as described/pictured. Mattress was very comfortable which can sometimes be a problem in rentals like this.
