Very peaceful and quiet historic neighborhood and quaint setting

Walk to historic downtown Springfield. Numerous bourbon distilleries, wineries, historic sites, shopping, antiquing, horse activities, parks, historic sites, and other activities all just a short car ride away.

All living spaces are on a main floor and can be accessed without stairs. The washer and dryer are in the basement and there are steps to get to the washer and dryer. The deck does have stairs down to the backyard and hot tub/game area. The backyard can also be accessed without stairs by walking around the house from the front or carport.

Our stay was very enjoyable being the first time visiting the area and close to the distilleries and wineries on our list to take tours! Bill and Heather were extremely responsive and let us know of anything that was happening before our stay. The dishwasher ended up being replaced right before our visit so that was nice to know ahead of time thanks! The bathroom and amenities were so nice to have which you may not always have at most Airbnbs I have been to so that was extremely helpful. I would recommend this place to others when visiting the Bourbon Trail!

We stayed there to visit distilleries, do the Bourbon Dinner Train, see other sites and just relax. Our dog enjoyed being there and we all felt like it was home as it was quite roomy. We used the grill and kitchen and all was good to use for us. Home was close to all the distilleries we were interested in seeing and close to Bardstown and the restaurants we were interested in visiting. We would stay here again and highly recommend it. This home is just excellent.

We were all amazed at how big the house was in person! The home is beautiful!!! 😍 We’re a family of 8 and we all had plenty of room. They had everything we needed to cook, the bbq grill was a HUGE plus for us Texans, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the hot tub was a HUGE hit! It’s a quiet relaxing neighborhood that is safe and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely book again! Bill and Heather had excellent communication throughout our stay. The property is located in a small town. It was a holiday weekend, so it appeared "sleepy" when we drove through. The home is located on a corner and the neighborhood was quiet. It had great outdoor space where we could relax and enjoy the weather and hot tub. The home had absolutely everything we needed and enough space for the six adults to relax and not be on top of each other. The property was squeaky clean, probably the cleanest rental we have ever rented! The hosts provided so many little things to make us feel at home as well as have conveniences, so we did not have to run to the store. The location was perfect and centrally located to all the Distilleries we wanted to visit. If we come back to the area, we would absolutely choose to rent this home again! The property deserves more than a 5-star rating and so does Bill and Heather who were so responsive to our questions.

We were 2 couples touring the bourbon trail around the Bardstown area. All of the cabinets were labeled which we found helpful. One bedroom was an ensuite and the other bathroom is in the hallway. There is also a half bath near the front door. Highly recommend!

We were in the area to enjoy some of the Bourbon Trail and this location was an easy drive to the ones on our list. There were four adults (two couples) and we were very comfortable in the home. All the comforts of home were available and then some! The home is spacious and clean. Furniture was comfortable, especially the beds. One couple used the hot tub and loved it. We did not need to do laundry, but it was nice to have the option. The only thing that we could not figure out was internet. We logged in, but it seemed to only let one device on at a time. It was likely user-error, but not a big deal for us as we were on vacation and those who needed to check email took turns. In all fairness, we did NOT contact Bill & Heather for assistance for this issue, so they had no opportunity to help. We would 100% stay in this home again and recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and comfortable place for their next trip! Bill & Heather - Thanks for sharing your place with us!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay over New Years weekend. This place was perfect for our group of 6 adults. It was a good central location to do day trips out for bourbon tasting, and one day we did a longer side trip to Mammoth Cave. This house has a cute vintage vibe and decor, plenty of space for our group, and was super clean. Suuuper comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood. The weather was cold and crummy so we didn’t use any of the outdoor features but we did appreciate the games! Also the guys enjoyed the large living room with large big screen for watching football games in the evenings after a long day of bourbon tasting!

Wow, just wow! Vintage Bourbon Haven exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were swept away by the charm. The original hardwood floors were so cool, and having our own king suite bedroom with a bathroom with the amazing oversized shower with the extra rain shower felt like pure luxury.
